VJ Caro biedt een educatief programma bestaande uit lezingen, masterclasses en workshops over videokunst, VJing en audiovisuele performance. Dit aanbod is gericht op leerlingen, studenten en jonge makers die zich willen verdiepen in hedendaagse beeldcultuur, digitale kunst en de relatie tussen beeld, muziek en technologie.
Tijdens de programma’s maken deelnemers kennis met de artistieke en culturele context van videokunst en VJ-cultuur. Er wordt aandacht besteed aan zowel de geschiedenis als de actuele praktijk van live visuals, visuele storytelling en audiovisuele performance in clubs, op festivals en in de kunstwereld.
Naast theoretische kennis is er veel ruimte voor praktijk en experiment. Deelnemers leren hoe live visuals worden opgebouwd, hoe beeld en geluid elkaar versterken en hoe digitale tools worden ingezet als artistiek medium. Afhankelijk van het niveau en de doelgroep kunnen de workshops zowel introductief als verdiepend worden ingevuld.
Het educatieve aanbod van VJ Caro stimuleert creativiteit, visueel denken en digitale vaardigheden, en draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling van artistiek bewustzijn en culturele reflectie bij leerlingen en studenten.

VJ Caro offers an educational program consisting of lectures, masterclasses, and workshops focused on video art, VJing, and audiovisual performance. This program is aimed at pupils, students, and emerging creators who want to explore contemporary visual culture, digital art, and the relationship between image, music, and technology.
During these sessions, participants are introduced to the artistic and cultural context of video art and VJ culture. Attention is given to both the history and the current practice of live visuals, visual storytelling, and audiovisual performance in clubs, festivals, and the art world.
In addition to theory, there is a strong focus on practice and experimentation. Participants learn how live visuals are constructed, how image and sound can enhance each other, and how digital tools can be used as an artistic medium. Depending on the level and target group, the workshops can be adapted to be either introductory or more advanced.
The educational program of VJ Caro stimulates creativity, visual thinking, and digital skills, and contributes to the development of artistic awareness and cultural reflection among pupils and students.
